Islington Terrace

A Georgian terrace with a lost lower ground floor. We dug it out, levelled it to the garden, and made a series of low, wide rooms that hold light all day.

The rear extension is quiet from outside and surprising within — a single piece of joinery running wall to wall, holding the kitchen, the larder and the window seat.
